For their home in Amsterdam, the owners decided to entrust the interior design entirely to Dis Studio. From initial sketch to all accessories, such as door handles, everything comes from the quiver of this Amsterdam-based design agency.

Originally, the homeowners wanted to hire Dis Studio only for the kitchen and bathroom. After all, they already knew they wanted an Italian Boffi-designed kitchen and bathroom, and Dis Studio is the only supplier of those in the Netherlands. However, the realization of the design for the kitchen and bathroom went so smoothly that they decided to have Dis Studio take care of the rest of the interior design as well.
Boffi is a successful Italian company that collaborates with top designers like Piero Lissoni to create beautiful designer kitchens and bathrooms, combining modern technology with traditional craftsmanship.
The same Piero Lissoni also designed the Olivari door handle "Link. These door handles were chosen for the Amsterdam home because of their modern, round yet sleek, even understated design. For technical reasons, Intersteel recommended placing the handle on a round rosette for the wooden doors, while an oval rosette was recommended for the steel doors. Both variants are finished in anthracite matte titanium, which combines perfectly with both the white, wooden doors and the black, steel doors. By implementing unity in design down to the smallest details, a beautifully stylish home has been realized in Amsterdam.
