Suppose as a software developer you have a range of solutions ... wouldn't it be nice if you could offer these solutions "à la carte" to the customer? That's exactly what Matrix Software thought too. Under the name "All-in one," Matrix Software is introducing a veritable "module range" that customers can unfold. "In this way, all the products we supply are presented in a tangible and clear manner," says Hans Storms, branch manager of the window frame industry at the Nijmegen-based company. Matrix Software.
"We offer a total solution, ranging from software for CRM, ERP, MRP, CNC, customer relationship management, order management, planning, work preparation, control, ordering, timekeeping, post calculation and BIM. When you have so many 'flavors,' it's very nice to be able to fold them out neatly as a pallet."

It's one stop shopping at Matrix Software. The cloud-based solution "Matrix Webkozijn" is also doing well. "With that you can make calculations and order via the Internet," Storms explains. Customers will also find that product in the All-in One range. The big advantage of working with Matrix products is that everything comes from one source: "That also means you only need one point of contact. All the software also works seamlessly together because we develop it ourselves. Everything and everyone is connected in the same line. So there is no kink in the cable. Customers can come to us for really anything. Ideal right?"
Although a paperless factory is high on the wish list of many companies, due to its sustainable nature, it sometimes seems like a pipe dream. Not if it is up to Storms. "With our Manufacturing Execution System - MES - all the data comes right into view. With that, you can simply walk the path to a paperless factory. It is not the software that is the bottleneck here, but the mindset. For a paperless factory, you really have to change gears and people have to have the discipline not to print anything anymore. For many - we are routine animals after all - that is quite a task. But it is completely possible with our MES solution."
Those who source software from Matrix can count on proper on-site support. "A consultant from us always comes to you; we don't do remote implementations. We talk through what needs to be done on site with everyone involved and give instructions on the software after installation. Personal contact is very important to us. The total picture of the customer experience must be right, that is our starting point," Storms concludes.
