10 Benefits for installer and end user

Remotely the best intercom solution:

Intratone has long stood for access control and intercom solutions with real-time updates, which can be easily installed, maintained and managed. Also remotely. "With our solutions, we offer Management as a Service," says Edwin van Reijsen of Intratone.

"Convenience, safety and reliability go hand in hand. Combined with European production, long service life and optimal use of the cell phone network, we know how to convince installers, housing associations, Home Owners Associations, building managers and residents alike. Now and towards the future."

The biggest advantages at a glance:

1. High quality, stable and wireless connection

Distinctive about Intratone's systems is the use of the cell phone network. "We install a robust intercom system with SIM card on the facade, which connects to the electronic locking system of the entrance door," Van Reijsen said. "Vulnerable wiring and weak spots in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks are out of the question. Instead, the GSM network guarantees a high-quality, stable and wireless connection from the intercom to the smartphone and vice versa. Via the Intratone App, video can also be linked to the system."

2. No separate indoor unit

In addition to the GSM network, communication via a landline or tablet is also possible, eliminating the need for a separate indoor unit. With this, Intratone takes away a major annoyance for building owners and managers. In addition, the investment costs are reduced, because an indoor unit easily costs 300 euros.

"Indoor stations frequently suffer from malfunctions and breakdowns because residents do not treat them gently. By using their own devices instead, this problem is effectively overcome. After all, residents are a lot more careful with their own belongings."

3. Remote mutation management

"New construction and renovation projects anno 2022 will no longer be awarded on the basis of system construction and delivery times, but on simplicity of management," Van Reijsen knows.

"Is it possible to perform mutation and key management remotely, so that building managers no longer have to get in the car for every change? So that they can facilitate a larger work area? And so that budgets can be spent more usefully? Our intercom systems make it effortlessly possible! By using digital name displays, all mutation management can be done easily and through the secure Intratone management portal on the desktop, tablet or smartphone. Property managers can also add, remove and/or build in time locks for specific users in real time."

4. Simple key management

"Keys are by far the most vulnerable part of access control," Van Reijsen stressed.

"After all, it is common for residents to lose keys (or: badges/fobs/drops), leaving the front door vulnerable. And broken keys and cylinders are also commonplace. To unburden managers in this area as well and save time and costs, we offer a comprehensive range of electronic keys that can be easily issued and authorized remotely and via the same management portal. Lost keys are blocked in real time, taking security to the highest level. In addition, temporary access can easily be granted to home care workers, installers, elevator mechanics and painters, for example."

5. Fewer building managers, more budget

Because complete management can be performed from a central location, fewer managers are needed to manage the total building stock. "In addition, more budget is left over for improving and making the existing housing stock more sustainable and numerous other initiatives."

6. Fully customizable

Housing associations, owners' associations, building managers and residents want to be able to personalize their intercom systems even more than before. For example, by including a logo or property label in the LCD display, Van Reijsen knows.

"But also by making the display even more part of the aesthetics of the building. This is where we respond with Vendône; a new system with a fully customizable front on which, in addition to a wide range of colors, a logo and/or photo of your choice can be projected. Because Vendône is available in both recessed and surface-mounted versions, a suitable solution is offered for every situation."

7. Dynamic display information

It is also possible to display company names on the display units during the day, while after 5 p.m. the names of private individuals are displayed. With this, Intratone also meets the home-working trend as well as contributing to high resident satisfaction.

8. European production

Intratone is a brand of Cogelec and originated in France. "We combine the knowledge of the Dutch market with the clout and know-how of a European organization," Van Reijsen said. "The access control and intercom systems are still produced in France. Instead of costly and long transports from China (and associated CO2 emissions), customers benefit from local production and supply of materials."

9. Not inflationary

Housing associations, owners' associations and building managers who choose Intratone's access control and intercom systems are assured of a fixed subscription price. Over 10 years, they pay off the system in full, avoiding unforeseen subscription costs or inflationary increases. This security is also nice for installers, who are increasingly taking over management.

10. Possibility of leasing

Intratone also offers the possibility to lease the intercom systems with info displays (XL contract). This is interesting for example for Owners Associations. They do not suddenly have to take a large amount from the VvE pot, but can spread the investment in access control over 5 or 10 years, for example. Because the costs for maintenance and repairs are included in the lease contract, they are not faced with unforeseen costs.
